A Gassville man found guilty of three counts of rape and sentenced by a Baxter County Circuit Court jury to 120 years in prison has filed a notice of appeal.

Thirty-eight-year-old Bradley Uren’s attorney, Anthony Pirani of Fayetteville, recently filed the notice with the Arkansas Court of Appeals. The appeal will also deal with the denial by retired Circuit Judge Gordon Webb of a motion to suppress evidence in the case. A suppression hearing was held June 29 and Judge Webb filed a letter ruling denying the request to suppress evidence.

Uren’s three-day trial was held last month.

According to the case file, Uren was charged with engaging in deviant sexual activity with females under the age of 14.

Uren is now being held in the Cummins Unit of the state prison system at Gould.
