Beginning Monday, U.S. Highway 62 East from the bypass through Henderson to the Baxter County line will be resurfaced.
According to Trey Rogers from Atlas Asphalt, the company overseeing the project, states the project will occur Monday through Saturday during normal business hours and is expected to last five to seven weeks. Motorists are asked to be cautious while traveling and watch for posted signs for changing road conditions as well as people working on the highway.
Rogers states lane closures will change throughout the project, but signs will be posted to indicate which lanes are closed and when.
