The Mountain Home High School Marching Band finished third overall in the finals of the Pride of the Ozarks Marching Invitational Saturday in Ozark, Missouri. The Bomber Band color guard was able to earn first place overall in finals.
In the band competition, Mountain Home ended up behind the winners from Springfield Kickapoo and the runners-up from Nixa. Willard and Branson were fourth and fifth, respectively.
Mountain Home won in its classification in preliminary rounds. They also finished first in music performance and general effect.
The Bomber Band will perform at the Homecoming Parade this Wednesday at 5:30 pm and at halftime of the Bomber Homecoming Game on Friday. Their next competition is Oct. 14 in Branson.
