The Mountain Home High School boys’ golf team wrapped up its season as state runners-up. The Bombers finished second in the Class 5A State Tournament Monday at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Alma.
Mountain Home’s team total for the tournament was 311. Benton won the crown at 295.
The Bombers were led by freshman Cody Cormican as was named to the All-State team after shooting a 74. Benton’s Paxton Lane was the individual medalist with a 67.
Mountain Home head coach Dell Leonard says he is proud of the effort his team put out in the tournament and the entire season.
