A Mountain Home man was arrested twice in less than 11 hours over the weekend by Mountain Home Police. Thirty-eight-year-old Joshua Ryan Owen is facing multiple charges from the incidents.

According to reports from the Mountain Home Police Department, officers were called to a residence on McClure Lane Saturday evening when a female said Owen was drunk and had assaulted her and her two juvenile children.

The female victim, who identified Owen as her fiancée, said Owen got upset and shoved her against a wall with his forearm against her neck. She says he also put one of her children in a headlock and squeezed and shoved the other one to the ground. Officers observed marks on two of the three victims.

Owens was arrested on three counts of battery, two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and resisting arrest. He was also issued a restraining order. He bonded out at 5:00 Sunday morning.

Officers were called back to the residence at 6:30 Sunday morning when Owen was reportedly in the back yard. He was found a short distance away.

The female victim told law enforcement Owen was actively trying to get into the house before officers arrived. Police could see tracks in the dew covered yard.

Owen’s second arrest was on a charge of violating a no contact order. He bonded out shortly before 9 Sunday morning.
