Thursday Volleyball Results

Mountain Home was on the road against Greenwood in 5 sets of high school volleyball thursday evening. Ultimately it was the Bulldogs who took the victory in the final match defeating the Lady Bombers. Final scores where 15-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23 and 9-15.

Elsewhere on the high school level, Flippin lost to Midland 1-3, Yellville- Summit defeated Marshall in straight sets for senior night, and Harrison was able to secure the win against Van Buren 3-1.

Mountain Home had three junior high matches in front of the home crowd against Batesville. The seventh grade team lost in two sets with scores of 21-25 and 22-25. The junior varisity team won in the first two sets with scores of 25-22 and 27-25. Karly Goes had 17 assists, Ava Cate Caples had 7 kills and 1 ace and Macy Farris had 6 kills and 5 digs.
The varsity team defeated the Pioneers in three sets with scores of 8-25, 25-23 and 15-12. Ava Jones had 13 assists, 2 aces and 4 digs, Violet Daughtery had 11 assists and 5 digs, Aleigh Lucas had 8 kills and 2 blocks.
