Freeze warnings issued for Twin Lakes Area

The weekend rainfall has brought a cold front through the Twin Lakes Area as temperatures have dropped and will continue to drop. A freeze warning is in effect for the entire area until 9 Monday morning, and another will be in effect Tuesday morning from midnight to 9.

Meteorologist Lance Pyle from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says any portions of the area that didn’t freeze Monday morning most likely will overnight.

After 7 Sunday morning, an additional .65 of an inch of rain fell at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home. That gave the station four consecutive days of measurable rainfall for a total of 3.16 inches.
