The North Central Arkansas Veterans Council is again Sponsoring the Annual Veterans Day Commemoration at Veterans Plaza 2000 In Mountain Home, AR. This year it will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Home Veterans Plaza 2000 in Mountain Home. The host organization is VFW Post 3246, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Master of Ceremonies is Dr. George Wolford. Chaplain is Jack Tofari, Chaplain for VFW Post 3246. Guest speaker will be CW4 (R) Jason P. Nazarenko.
Music will be provided by KTLO Radio. The national anthem will be sung by Raquel Houk. Colors will be provided by the participating Veterans Organizations and Honors by the Honor Guard of Alley- White American Legion Post 52.
Immediately after the ceremony the Elks Club of Mountain Home will be hosting a luncheon for Veterans and their families. This will be instead of cupcakes and coffee at VFW 3246.
KTLO is providing sound and broadcast of the festivities. In the event of inclement weather, the location will Mountain Home Junior High School, 2301 Rodeo Drive, Mountain Home. We will make a decision no later than Wednesday morning November 8, 2022, if the location will need to be switched. Change of location will be announced on KTLO Radio.
