On Friday, Republican Shannon Walker announced her intent to run for reelection for Baxter County Quorum Court Justice of the Peace for District 10.
Walker currently serves on the county budget and building committees. In the community she serves as the President of the Baxter County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Walker is a 1992 graduate of Mountain Home High School and a Baxter County native. She has been married to her husband Luke Walker for 30 years and has two grown sons. Walker and her husband run a full time farm operation.
Walker states, “It’s been a pleasure to represent the citizens of district 10 and I am honored you have put your trust in me to do so. We’ve accomplished several great things this past year and I humbly ask for your vote in March 2024 so I can continue serving the people of the county I call home.”
