Boil water order issued for all customers in Briarcliff Waterworks system

A boil water order has been issued for all customers in the Briarcliff Waterworks system.

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, a boil water order was issued as a precautionary measure due to a loss in normal system pressure from a main break.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
