In a 2017 survey conducted by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), it was reported a significant 48% of fishing excursions are dedicated to shoreline fishing. Taking this into consideration, the AGFC is highlighting a few shoreline fishing areas on Bull Shoals Lake.
These shoreline locations provide opportunities to target black bass, sunfish and catfish from the bank. AGFC suggest the best locations include the upper Bull Shoals shoreline angling access and the lower Bull Shoals shoreline access. They state the best time to try these spots is when the lake is at a conservation pool of 659 feet.
