For those in the Twin Lakes Area hoping for a white Christmas, it’s not going to happen in 2023. Meteorologist Colby Pope from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the forecast calls for conditions to be unseasonably warm, wet and a little breezy.

On an average Christmas, a Canadian air mass will often make its way to north central Arkansas and southern Missouri and at least bring colder temperatures if not a wintry mix, but Pope says that has been cut off from us this year. However, that may change going into the new year.
