The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two individuals in connection with the Jan. 8 death of Derek Hamilton.
According to the press release, the Circuit Court of Fulton County issued arrest warrants for Anna Hamilton and Shawn Cox for the stabbing death of 26-year-old Derek Hamilton. Anna Hamilton and Cox are charged with second-degree murder.
Derek Hamilton was found dead in his home on Jan. 8, where investigators state he died during a domestic altercation. His body has been sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Anna Hamilton and Cox were arrested Friday with the assistance of the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office. Both are being held in the Fulton County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond each.
