Winter weather in the area has delayed pick up for Waste Connections.
According to a release, if trash is not picked up Monday, or on customer’s regularly scheduled day of service, Waste Connection officials state it is fine to leave trash at the curb for the following day. Saturday will be a make up day for any routes that have been missed.
Waste Connections will pick up two weeks of trash this week. Any extra bags can be placed next to trash cans.
Officials note if you are in a bind and have to get rid of your trash before your regular day of service, it can be taken to the Waste Connections office or transfer station.
Check in with the scale attendant or receptionist and they will direct you where to leave the items.
