The Baxter County Early Literacy Project is holding a book drive at the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County. The drive will focus on collecting new or gently used children’s books to support the Nine Early Literacy Project Little Free Libraries across Baxter County.
The Book Crate program is accepting donations of board, picture, and small chapter books and donations can be dropped off at library located at 300 Library Lane in Mountain Home, during regular library hours. Two crates will be available for donations, one located in the Great Hall and the other next to the self-checkout area downstairs.
The Baxter County Early Literacy Little Free Libraries allows anyone to take a children’s book or leave one to share to encourage reading among young children.
