MH Water Department to replace water main starting Monday, some streets to be affected

The Mountain Home Water Department has announced they will be replacing a water main and adding a fire hydrant starting Monday and some streets will be affected by the work.

The work will begin at South College Street at East Seventh Street and go east to Bryant Street. The construction will also include the north end of Dryer Street and the intersection of East Seventh Street and Foster Street where the new hydrant will be installed.

Once the work is completed, the street department will put an overlay of new asphalt over the affected streets.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and use alternate routes if possible while the work is being done.
