MHHS boys’ wrestling team finishes 3rd in regional tournament

The Mountain Home High School boys’ wrestling team ended up finishing third Saturday in the 5A-North Regional Tournament at Searcy. Van Buren won the title, and Greenwood was second.

Isaiah Merry led the Bombers by winning the 175-pound division. Noah Lagg finished second in the 215, Calin Frounfelter was second in the 285, James Wilburn ended up third in the 157, Seth King took fourth place in the 120, Mason Shimmel finished fourth in the 138, Zane Darracq was fourth in the 150, Eason Recktenwald ended up fourth in the 190, Bryson Huggins took fifth place in the 113, and Mario Alvarez finished sixth in the 165.
