The Mountain Home High School baseball team is selling memorial t-shirts in honor of former Mountain Home student-athlete, coach, teacher and administrator Ron Czanstkowski. The cost of the shirt is $25 each, and all proceeds will benefit Czanstkowski’s family.

The t-shirts are grey. The front includes a yellow patch with “Coach C” in blue. The back has the following quote from Czantskowski: “Go as hard as you can for as long as you can. It’s my job to know when you are done.”

Czanstkowski died Feb. 6 in Houston after a long battle with cancer. As a member of the Bomber baseball team, Czanstkowski was a three-time All-Conference selection, two-time All-State team member and a member of the All-Arkansas High School Baseball Team during his senior year. As a head coach, he led Mountain Home to its first state baseball championship.

Czanstkowski was also a full-time mathematics teacher while coaching baseball, and he won the district’s Teacher of the Year award in 1997. He had continued to serve in Mountain Home Public Schools as its students services director.

Orders for the t-shirts will be accepted through March 8. Click here to purchase a shirt.
