Crime prevention cameras will be removed; not functioning as advertised

On Thursday, Mountain Home Police Chief Eddie Griffin announced the crime prevention cameras recently installed will now be removed as they did not perform as advertised by the vendor.

Griffin spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News on why the decision was made to remove the cameras.

The safety cameras installed by Critical Edge of Jonesboro were located at the intersections of Arkansas Highway 5 and U.S. Highway 62, U.S. Hwy 62 and Cardinal, Arkansas Highway 201 S. and the bypass, west end of the bypass, east end of the bypass, Hospital Dr. and Hwy 5, Hwy. 62 and Club Blvd, Arkansas Ave. and Hwy. 201 N. and Cardinal and Hwy 5 S.
