The Twin Lakes area is poised to experience a roller coaster of weather conditions in the coming days. Warm south winds are fueling the potential for record highs to be broken on Tuesday. The current record from 1981 is 79 degrees but forecasted conditions are calling for a possible high of 82 degrees on Tuesday. A pattern change moves into the area Tuesday night and although the chance for severe storms cannot be ruled out earlier forecasts are now shifting severe weather primarily north. That will bring in frigid temperatures for Wednesday with highs projected at 47 degrees and afternoon wind chills in the 20s.

National Weather Service meteorologist Willie Gilmore shares the following in depth forecast.
