The Mountain Home High School soccer teams were able to pick up another sweep as they hosted Arkadelphia for their home opener.
The Lady Bombers shut out the Lady Badgers 6-0. Abi Dettelbach and Lily Hinson each recorded a hat trick for Mountain Home. The Lady Bombers improve to 2-0 on the season
The Mountain Home boys followed with a 4-1 win over Arkadelphia. Garrett Barr led the Bombers with two goals and an assist, Isaac Ballard scored a goal and dished out an assist, David Hanewinkel added a goal, Aidan Sanders had an assist and six saves, and Jacob Bzdel and Isaaac Wiggins each provided an assist. Mountain Home is now 2-0 on the year.
The evening began with Mountain Home’s junior varsity boys losing to Arkadelphia 1-0. Daelyn Delapenha recorded one save.
