On Tuesday, Arkansans will vote in the 2024 primary and nonpartisan general elections. Arkansas is one of several states participating in “Super Tuesday” which is a traditional name for when a large number of presidential primaries are held.In Baxter County, the polls will be open from 7:30 until 7:30 at ten locations throughout Baxter County. There will not be any voting taking place at the Baxter County Courthouse, Twin Lakes Plaza or the Election Commission Headquarters.The race for Baxter County Justice of the Peace for District 11 has four candidates on the ballot. If there is to be a runoff, the runoff election day would be set for April 2.
