Tuesday, voters in Baxter County will be able to cast their ballot in the 2024 Preferential Primary Runoff. Two races, one for Position 1 for Baxter County Constable and the seat for Justice of the Peace for District 11.
In the Constable Position 1 race, voters will choose between Jeromy Weaver and Douglas Stephens. For District 11 Justice of the Peace, voters will choose between Toney Brasuell and Eric Payne. The only voters able to participate are those voting on a Republican ballot.
On election day, voters will be able to cast their ballots at the Baxter County Training Center, Big Flat City Hall, First United Methodist Church, Lakeview Civic Center, Lone Rock Baptist Church and Norfork Baptist Church from 7:30 until 7:30. No voting will take place at the Baxter County Courthouse, Twin Lakes Plaza or Election Commission Headquarters.
