A Calico Rock woman was killed Monday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident in Izard County. Seventy-five-year-old Virginia Post was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Post was traveling on Arkansas Highway 177 in Pineville. Her van reportedly traveled off an embankment and overturned. Post was ejected from the van.
The road was dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the 3:39 p.m. accident.
