The Mountain Home High School softball team will be among the area teams continuing state tournament action on Friday. The Lady Bombers return to the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison for the quarterfinals of the Class 5A State Tournament as they meet Beebe. The first pitch at Cornerstone Field is scheduled for 2:30, and the game will be streamed on the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.
Melbourne will be back at Majestic Park in Hot Springs for its quarterfinal game in the Class 3A State Softball Tournament. The Lady Bearkatz face Hackett at 12:30 on Jackie Robinson Field.
Norfork’s baseball team will be at West Side High School in Greers Ferry for the first quarterfinal of the Class 1A State Tournament. The Panthers take on Taylor at 10.
The Mountain View boys’ soccer team returns to the Anstaff Soccer Complex as they compete in the quarterfinals of the Class 3A State Tournament hosted by Bergman. The Yellowjackets play Centerpoint at 4 on Weichert Realty Field.
The Harrison girls remain in Hot Springs for their quarterfinal match in the Class 5A State Soccer Tournament hosted by Lakeside. The Lady Goblins will be paired with Searcy at 10.
