
A member of the Mountain Home High School boys’ basketball program is taking his talent to the collegiate level. Senior Braiden Dewey recently signed a national letter of intent to join the men’s team at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville.
Dewey says a few conversations he had led to his decision to become an Eagle.

Dewey was a two-time All-State player during his time with the Bombers, and he was also named to the All-State Tournament team. In addition, he’ll represent Mountain Home this June at the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game in Conway. During his senior season, Dewey was able to accumulate over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds for his high school career.
Dewey says he expects the coaching staff at Oklahoma Wesleyan to continue to utilize him as a front court player.
