Arkansas’ state championship week continues Friday with baseball, softball, soccer

The Arkansas Activities Association’s final state championship week continues Friday at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Two baseball games, two softball games and four soccer matches will be on tap.

The softball action gets underway at 10 with the Class 4A game between Pea Ridge and Farmington. The Class 6A title will be decided at 4 between Har-Ber and Bentonville.

The first baseball game of the day will start at 1 as Har-Ber and Rogers battle for the Class 6A championship. Valley View and Maumelle will conclude Friday’s action as they meet in the Class 5A game at 7.

The soccer action will begin at 10 with the Class 6A girls’ match between Rogers and Bentonville. Class 5A will have the next two matches as the boys’ teams from Russellville and Van Buren take the field at noon, and Siloam Springs faces Pulaski Academy for the girls’ title at 2. The last match of the day will be in Class 4A as the boys’ teams from Dardanelle and Clarksville start at 4.

All baseball and softball games are televised by Arkansas PBS. The soccer matches are streamed on the NFHS Network.
