MHCA among area high schools to hold graudations Friday

In addition to Mountain Home, four other area commencement ceremonies set for Friday evening.

Mountain Home Christian Academy’s Class of 2024 is set to walk at beginning at 6. Nine seniors will take part in the graduation ceremony at Mountain Home Baptist Church at 1960 Glenbriar Drive. A spokesperson at the school says six students are college bound, and the other three will go to trade school or start full-time work.

Yellville-Summit will start its commencement at 7 as 62 seniors will walk in the new gym. Trinity Murphy is the valedictorian, and Kadence Doshier is the salutatorian. At the last update, Yellville-Summit’s senior class was receiving a total of over $1.522 million in scholarship money.

Twenty-six seniors and one early graduate make up the Class of 2024 at Viola High School. Commencement is scheduled for 8 Friday evening in the gymnasium. Emily Martin is the valedictorian, and Camryn Graves is the salutatorian

The senior class at the Gainesville R-V School District will begin its graduation ceremony at 7:30. Commencement will be held at Benton F. Breeding Stadium.
