2 boil orders issued following Sunday’s storms

Two boil orders have been issued following Sunday’s storms in the Twin Lakes Area.

The entire Briarcliff Waterworks system is under a boil order following a loss of power.

A boil order has also been issued for Flippin Waterworks for the area along County Roads 7008 and 7009 due to a lightning strike.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
