The Arkansas High School Coaches Association has announced it Outstanding Coaches of the Year for track and field, and both honorees are representing the Twin Lakes Area. Mountain Home’s Noah Chagnon won the award on the boys’ side, and Yellville-Summit’s April Martin won the girls’ award.
The honor comes nearly four weeks after Chagnon led the Bombers to their first ever Class 5A state chmpionship. Martin guided the Lady Panthers to their fourth consecutive Class 2A state title.
