On Friday, Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin issued a statement alerting consumers to a scam that has recently made its way to Arkansas. Scammers are attempting to steal consumers personal information and trick them into handing over funds by impersonating a state toll service. Residents who get a text from a state toll service are asked to fill out the robocall reporting form on the Arkansas Attorney General’s website and are advised to not send payment to any entity over text.
