The Mountain Home MacLeod American Legion baseball team began its run in the Sportsman Tournament on a rough note Friday night in Fort Smith. MacLeod suffered an 11-6 loss to the Fort Smith Juniors.
Will Rauls was the losing pitcher with 2 2/3 innings, two strikeouts and eight runs. Colt Crownover pitched 1/3 of an inning, and Eli Jones went an inning on the mound and recorded one strikeout.
Braxton Blagg and Erik Foster each provided a hit, scored a run and drove in another, and Will Morris added a hit and a run.
