Several tiebreakers were needed after the final round of the Mountain Home Charity Golf Classic Sunday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club. One of those tiebreakers ended up deciding the overall winners.
Chris and Joel Hudson and Randy Lunceford captured the Championship Flight after taking the tiebreaker over Andrew Gillespie, Lance Coffman and Jim Wood. Both teams ended up with a 25-under-par 119.
Another tiebreaker was needed after three teams ended up five strokes off the lead. Rickey Jones, Zachary Thompson and Brennan Sharpe finished third; Mark, Jacob and Matt School were fourth; and John Sullivant, Seth Sullivant and John Reynolds ended up fifth.
Nick and Jack Coleman and Tommy Strickland won the A Flight with a 17-under-par 127. Tyler Woods, Mike Culley and Eddie Helmert took the tiebreaker for second place over Joey Sample, Kirk Brown and Geoffrey Smith as both teams were two strokes back.
Jim Maycunich, Eli Barrow and James Fiscus won the B Flight with a 12-under-par 132. Patrick Burton, Chuck Dennis and Lee Valdez finished second at three strokes off the lead; and Kristian Ferguson, Larry Wilhite and Cory Patton were third with an eight-under-par 136.
Greg Meisch and Brock Jolly won C Flight with a six-under-par 138, and two teams were two strokes back. Steven and Brian Smith and Travis Sullivan won the tiebreaker for second place over Hunter Thorpe, Chance Gregory and Cole Barrow.
