On June 27, the Marion County 4-H will host a free Youth Outdoor Adventures Day from 9:30 until 2.
The event will be held at the Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center and is free for families. Children ages 5 to 11 will rotate through four stations, including design a lure, fun in the sun, compassing and fishing at the pond.
Youth ages 12 to 16 will rotate through four stations including archery, compassing, kickin’ and pickin’ in the creek and fishing at the pond.
Check in for the event will begin at 9.
Young children must have an adult accompany them throughout the day. A free lunch will be provided by Arvest Bank and groups are welcome.
