The St. Francis County Sheriff’s Department has announced a second arrest in a homicide.In February, a group of boys riding four wheelers found a tote containing 42-year-old Troy Alexandra Strope’s body on the side of County Road 731. Police arrested 41-year-old Corey Jerome Anderson of Madison and charged him with abuse of a corpse. Anderson was in St. Francis Circuit Court at the time of his arrest on an unrelated matter and was taken into custody without incident.
Last week, authorities arrested Micah Lacy and charged him with first degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and possession of a firearm in the case.
St. Francis Circuit Court Judge Christopher Morledge arraigned Anderson and his bond was set at $50,000.
