The Marion County Quorum Court will meet in regular session Tuesday night at 6.
Items on the agenda include:
– an ordinance to amend the annual operating budget to appropriate funds from the Oakland/Promiseland rural grant fund to the Oakland Promiseland volunteer fire department state grant in the amount of $15,000 to purchase machinery and equipment;
– an ordinance to appropriate funds from the court security grant in the amount of $3401 to purchase a panic alarm system for the courthouse and annex;
– an ordinance to transfer unappropriated funds from the county road fund to the road department fund in the amount of $36,938 for vehicles and equipment sold;
– an ordinance to appropriate funds sent from the State of Arkansas for election training to the election budget in the amount of $1,993;
– an ordinance to appropriate funds from the clerk small equipment budget to the clerk machinery and equipment budget in the amount of $1,501 along with appropriating funds in the amount of $4,270 from the recorder small equipment budget to the recorder machinery and equipment budget to cover expenses for a copier;
– an ordinance to appropriate funds for law enforcement vehicle parts and repairs sold at the 14th Judicial Prosecuting Attorney DTF public auction from the sales tax law enforcement budget to the parts and repairs budget in the amount of $9,037;
– an ordinance to appropriate funds for law enforcement fleet liability funds refunded back to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department from the Association of Arkansas Counties in the amount of $1,204; and
– an ordinance to appropriate funds from the coronavirus relief fund to the Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department in the amount of $14,575.
