Baxter Health recently welcomed Dr. Jacob Carter, MD, to the medical staff. He is a skilled internist joining the First In Service Hospitalists practice group serving at Baxter Health.Dr. Carter, an Arkansas native, obtained his undergraduate degree at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Arkansas College for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He recently completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health and Sciences Center in Nashville.

In addition to his excitement for caring for patients, Dr. Carter looks forward to spending his free time fishing, exploring the Ozarks and enjoying the company of friends, family and his dogs. Dr. Carter is excited to become involved in the community in Mountain Home.
