ASU-Mountain Home to host writer Sean of the South Tuesday night

ASU-Mountain Home will open its 13th season of the Performing Arts Series with columnist, novelist, and stand-up storyteller Sean Dietrich, sponsored by the Gaston Lecture Series Tuesday night at 6 at the Vada Sheid Performing Arts Center.

Dietrich writes as Sean of the South and is known for his blog and musical podcast of the same name. He is known for his commentary on life in the American South. He has authored 15 books, and his work has been featured in Newsweek, Reader’s Digest, Southern Living, Garden, and Gun.

Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement Christy Keirn, spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot on a recent episode of Talk of the Town with Sammy Raycraft and says he someone many people follow in the area as he speaks about life in the American South.
