Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced an order for the United States flag and the state flag of Arkansas to be flown at half-staff across the state today.
From sunrise to sunset, the flags will be on display to mourn the lives lost in the Israel attacks on this day one year ago.
“Now, therefore, I, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Governor of the State of Arkansas, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the laws of the State of Arkansas, do hereby order that the United States flag and the state flag of Arkansas be flown at half-staff throughout the State from sunrise to sunset on Monday, October 7, 2024, one year after the tragic attack, in memory of the lives lost in Israel.”
