Bombers Volleyball overtake Goblins in Harrison

The 7th grade Lady Bombers opened evening giving the Goblins the only victory of the night in 2 matches with scores of 18-25 and 10-25.

Junior high junior varsity took to the court next winning the first set 25-19. A slip in the second set saw the Goblins with a victory 27-29 but the Bombers came around and won the final set 17-15. Landry Litty had 7 Kills 17 Digs 3 aces, Allison Free had 3 kills 4 assists, and Zoey Throckmorton had 9 digs 2 aces 4 assists.

The junior high varsity team continued to put the fear in the Goblins winning in two sets with scores of 25-16 and 25-21. Violet Daugherty had 16 assists 9 digs 1 ace, Dawson Harper posted 8 Kills 8 digs and Macy Farris had 3 kills 2 assists. Overall record for the season stands at 14-4 with a conference record of 9-1.

As the high school teams faced off the junior varsity team gave Harrison a preview of how the evening would end winning both sets.

A victorious Mountain Home left their mark in the varsity matchup sweeping in 3 matches with final scores of 25-20, 25-15 and 25-22. Anna McCarn had 14 kills, 4 blocks, Daelyn Harper had 8 kills, 4 blocks and Annyston Crooker posted 6 kills.

The Bombers face Batesville next at home Tuesday evening at the Hangar with the theme for the night being Hawaiian.
