A new opportunity for artists to express their creativity is now being offered by the Corner Art Collective located in Mountain Home.
The Corner Art Collective offers 1,200 square feet of workspace comprised of a gallery and studio space and includes a supply pantry and access to tools such as sewing machines and gel plates. This studio and supply pantry allows artists to experiment with tools and mediums they might not otherwise have access to.
Current Collective member Heather Link and founding member Christy Cooper spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News to share the collective’s goal of creating a community where people can come together and experiment with new ways of creating art.

Membership comes in three tiers:
– a basic membership allows access to special member events for $25 a month;
– an Open Studio Artist membership includes access to the equipment and supply pantry for $50 a month; and

Many of the supplies available at the Corner Art Collective have been donated by artists, and the collective always accepts donations of art supplies.
The Corner Art Collective is working towards attaining nonprofit status and applying for grants to further progress with its mission and eventually add children’s programming.
