Mountain Home Public Schools will host a presentation for parents and guardians about the risks of social media for children. The presentation, “Keeping Kids Safe Online,” will be held November 11 from 6 to 7:30 in Dunbar Auditorium.
Superintendent Allyson Dewey says due to the nature of the content, children will not be allowed in the presentation. She says, “But I am grateful to the Mountain Home PTO group for agreeing to provide onsite childcare during the event for those who need it.” Dewey says the presentation is tiered, so parents with children of any age will find it beneficial.
The seminar will feature Dr. Robin Finley, an educator with over 35 years of experience.
