15-year-old Beebe student has been fatally struck by a train

An Arkansas high school student was struck and killed by a train on Thursday.According to the Beebe Police Department, when officers responded to the incident on Railroad Street near the Beebe School District, they found the body of 15-year-old boy after having been struck by a Union Pacific train.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, but say that the family has been notified.

Police said the case is under investigation.
