Saturday will be a busy day for volleyball, and it includes the Mountain Home High School team going to Conway. The Lady Bombers will take part in the Lady Cat Invitational at Buzz Bolding Arena.
Elsewhere on the high school level, Gainesville will compete in the Mansfield Volleyball Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs’ opening opponent will be Fordland, and they’ll later face Blue Eye and Koshkonong.
The 2A-2 Junior District Tournament will be held at the Cougar Den on the campus of Izard County High School in Brockwell. Marshall and Midland get underway at 9, and top-seeded Cotter takes on the winner at noon. Omaha plays Cedar Ridge at 10, and Izard County will be paired with Alpena at 11.
Flippin will be the host of the 3A-2 Junior District Tournament. Yellville-Summit and Valley Springs will have the opening match at 10, and the winner faces top-seeded Bergman at 1. Salem takes on Cave City at 11, and Flippin plays Melbourne at noon.
