LeMoore NJROTC defeated Mountain Home NJROTC 1058.7 to 995.9 in the 2024 National Sporter Air Rifle League. LeMoore NJROTC was led by Chance Garner who shot a 281.4. The remaining contributing members were Romeo Montoya, Michaela Darden, and Peyton Slocum. They are from LeMoore, CA, and are coached by CPO Myers.
LeMoore NJROTC is competing in the Distinguished Division where they are currently ranked in sixth place. Within the Navy Jrotc Conference they are in second place. They have a 2 – 0 record.
Mountain Home NJROTC was led by Dylan Prins who shot a 265.1. The remaining contributing members were Emerson Walls, Ethan Darracq, and Deano Busch-Blue. Mountain Home NJROTC is from Mountain Home, AR, and is coached by Jason Williams.
Mountain Home NJROTC is also competing in the Distinguished Division where they are currently ranked in twenty-fifth place. Within the Navy Jrotc Conference they are in ninth place. They have a 1 – 1 record.

The league is a national team league for high school teams and junior rifle clubs. The league has two parts. An 8 week regular season going on now, followed by the post-season.
The Champions Division is reserved for the top teams in the country. The top eight teams from the Champions Division regular season will compete in a single elimination tournament for the league championships.
In each game the teams compete in what is known as a Three-Position Air Rifle match. The match is modeled after Olympic Rifle competitions but adapted to high school age athletes. Each athlete will shoot 10 shots in three different shooting positions, kneeling, prone, and standing. Scored in decimal, each shot is worth a maximum of 10.9 points. The sum of points scored in the 30 shots is the athlete’s total. The team score is comprised of the best four athletes from each team.
