The basketball season gets underway Monday in Arkansas, and one of the features will be the opening night of the Bobby D. Hulse Memorial Classic at Norfork. Kingston and Sloan-Hendrix will have the first doubleheader starting with the girls at 4:15. Norfork will follow with back-to-back games against Mammoth Spring starting at 6:45.
Three area high school teams will compete on the first day of the Pangburn Tip-Off Classic. Both Rural Special teams meet White County Central in the old gym starting with the girls at 3:45, and Timbo’s boys will face St. Joseph at 8:25 in the arena.
In other high school action, Lead Hill hosts Ozark Mountain.
On the junior high level, Cotter travels to Jasper.
