4 area volleyball teams to compete in regional tournament semifinals

High school volleyball makes up the local Wednesday schedule as regional tournament play continues in Arkansas.

Three area teams will take part in the semifinals of the Class 2A East Regional Tournament at Izard County High School in Brockwell. The host Lady Cougars face Marshall at 5, and Cotter meets Piggott at 7.

Valley Springs will compete in the semifinals of the Class 3A East Regional Tournament at Hoxie. The Lady Tigers take on Crowley’s Ridge Academy at 7.
