Early voting trends hold steady; Wednesday busy at polls

Wednesday saw early voting trends holding steady in Marion and Baxter Counties as polling locations remained busy.

First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home ended up with 1,492 ballots cast for the day. Baxter County’s three-day total is 4,694, making up 15% of the county’s registered voters according to reporting from Baxter County Clerk, Lindsey Roberts.

Marion County has seen 13.5% of registered voters cast their ballots in early voting. According to Marion County Clerk, Dawn Moffet, Wednesday ended up with 435 voters at the fairgrounds in Summit for a three-day total of 1,384.
