A Bull Shoals man has been arrested after he assaulted two people and barricaded himself in a house. Thirty-three-year-old Devin Henry is facing multiple charges for the incident, including assault and resisting arrest.

According to the incident report, on Oct. 20, the Bull Shoals Police Department responded to a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival, authorities spoke with one of the victims, who stated Henry physically assaulted her, threw her to the ground, and choked her. A neighbor attempted to intervene and stop the assault, and in response, Henry struck him in the chest and attempted multiple times to hit him in the face but was unable to make contact. During the altercation, the initial victim’s four-year-old daughter was present.

Witnesses state Henry ran into the house while law enforcement was on the way. He barricaded himself, and the victim informed officers multiple guns were inside the home. Officers entered, and Henry fought with officers, refusing to put his hands behind his back. Officers managed to subdue Henry and put him in handcuffs. A loaded and chambered Kimber 380 handgun was found directly underneath the suspect.

Henry was arrested and is facing a felony count of third-degree domestic battery, 3rd-degree assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a minor.
