A fire caused extensive damage to a home in eastern Mountain Home Thursday morning, but no injuries were reported.According to the Mountain Home Fire Department, the blaze at 1114 Heatherdown Trail was reported at 10:10 a.m. Firefighters responded to the residence, owned by Aaron Stonelake, and were on the scene for nearly three hours.
The fire started in the kitchen ceiling, causing 40% fire damage, along with smoke and water damage throughout the home. The cause is still undetermined.
Fourteen firefighters responded with two engine companies, a ladder company, a rescue unit, and a support vehicle.
